MOMSTRENGTH Tuesdays and Fridays at 11am and Wednesdays at 6:30pm  At The Institute of Sport Performance and Wellness

Join me in my signature women’s strength and movement class for women of all ages and stages of life including pregnancy, post-partum and beyond.  BONUS: Your children are welcome to attend the class and take part of watch.
This class will include: safe exercises to strengthen your body before, during and after baby, focused stretches and breathing to prepare your body for the everyday demands of carrying, lifting and more, full body conditioning to get your body moving, to keep your muscles toned and to loose the mummy tummy, self massage techniques to relieve aches and pains of expecting, safe sweating and fun.



SUP Yoga and Learn To Paddle

Join Alissa Blais on the water through July and August for her summer SUP programs.  These are wonderful ways of challenging your muscles and your balance and learning some new skills.   Her regularly scheduled classes include:

Thursdays Learn To SUP 6pm – 7:15pm  $50 includes equipment

You have heard about the Stand Up Paddleboarding, promised yourself this will be your summer, now it’s time for you to learn what SUP is all about. Get on board with our Learn to SUP 90 minute lesson where you will learn the basics skills of the sport, how to comfortably stand up and paddle in a fun and safe environment.

Thursdays SUP Yoga 7:30pm – 8:30pm  and Fridays  6pm – 7:15pm $35 includes SUP rental or $25 bring your own gear

If you thought yoga was challenging, come try it on a board this summer! Wind down from your day and join us for this challenging and calming experience of yoga on a paddleboard to the beautiful colours of the setting sun. Plus if you happen to fall in, it can be really refreshing on a hot day 😉 All hands on deck with Alissa Blais in this all levels yoga class. No yoga or SUP experience required. Just an open mind and a playful heart.

Fridays SUP n’ SIP 7:30pm – 8:45pm  $30 includes SUP rental or $10 bring your own gear

Catering to the local SUP community and aimed to GROW our SUP group, our SIP’n’SUP Fridays are a great opportunity to come out and paddle with a group and make some new SUP buddies! It’s always fun to share what you do with others, and that is our aim here. We will tour the beautiful lake and afterwards sip on a refreshment from the FISH Boat Restaurant on site. You will have so much fun you will want to make this a weekly event, and we look forward to getting to know our SUP locals.

I met Alissa when I signed up for her Mom and Baby Hiking and Yoga program last fall. I LOVED going to my weekly meet up of Mom and Baby Hiking and Yoga  program. It got me out doing winter hikes which I would never do on my own! It was so fun to try something new. I had the opportunity to participate in the spring session 2017 of Mom and Baby Yoga and Hiking Series. What a great experience it was! I am so thankful to have met a great group of moms (and babies!) that I still keep in touch with to this day, to have had Alissa guide me and suggest tweaks to improve my nutrition as well as feeling stronger and more focused thanks to our yoga workouts and hikes. I also appreciated how Alissa encouraged us to set goals for ourselves in order to reach a balance in our busy Mom lives.
